![]() I guess the main point of this post is, why do 95% of drill beats suck ass? (I know that's quite subjective, but this is the truth in my world and maybe that's because I haven't been listening to the right people or maybe I'm the one that sucks). Same with rage beats and super trap beats, but that's another can of worms we don't have to open right this moment. The way I feel, I prefer going back to boom bap than going forward with drill beats. Need some enlightment because I really want to get in with this movement and start making drill beats, but I am not liking how 95% of the drill beats I've heard thus far. Am I missing something with this movement? I like the crazy 808s and the hihats all over the place, but something just feels off. ![]() Idk, there's just something about drill that I do not like, but I can't quite pinpoint what it is. All other rappers songs I've heard on drill suc ass. ![]() Honestly, the only drill I f with is Pop Smoke's drill, meaning, Pop Smoke on drill tracks and Kanye's Donda drill tracks.
